iTunes is a proprietary digital media player application, used for playing and organizing digital audio and video files. A great feature of iTunes is that it can be used to subscribe to RSS feeds from podcasts - which makes it "podcatching" software. iTunes is available as a free download for Windows and Macintosh PC's from the Apple.com website.
